Web Form Parser

Here is the first official Digital Tinker Utility!

Web Form Parser is a lightweight utility for parsing data from the email messages that you receive from web forms. Contact forms, subscription forms, surveys and polls are common types of web forms.

Web Form Parser is optimized for AWeber confirmation e-mails. These messages are sent to you when someone successfully subscribes to your email list. This is also known as opt-in or permission-based communications.

Web Form Parser takes the email that you provide to it and extracts the web form data. It will generate a comma separated values (.csv) file that you can use for further input to other applications, such as a word processor, spreadsheet or database.

In general, the parser can process the following:

  • A single file, containing a single email message
  • A single file, containing multiple email messages
  • A single folder, containing one or more files, each of which can have one or more messages

The supported extensions are .EML and .TXT. Web Form Parser can also read mbox files, which some email programs use to store email messages. Mbox files do not have an extension.
